I am originally from what most people call "God's Country" others may call it Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I lived there for 18 years playing 5 sports throughout high school until I received a football scholarship to attend South Dakota State University. I unfortunately had a lower back injury shortly after arriving in Brookings, SD during a football practice that required an extensive surgery that forced me to retire. I ended up graduating with degrees in Health Education, Spanish, and Business Marketing. Weeks following graduation I decided to move to Phoenix, Arizona with not a whole lot of knowledge or relationships in the area.
Shortly after arriving in Phoenix in 2012 I got my real estate license as I knew where the market was heading. I ended up selling around 30 homes my first year in real estate mostly to investors and with sellers who needed a spin on the traditional listing. I was named rookie of the year and was the top selling agent nearly every month at one of Arizona's top ranked brokerages at the time.
My first listing was a $2.5 million dollar home in the middle of nowhere that hadn't been shown in over 3 years that I found marketed on eBay. A few days after listing the property, I received a call from a buyer in Utah that had been looking for a property like the one I was listing for the last decade and was flying in the next day to see it. The reason I bring this short story up is that I understood how to leverage digital and social media ad products 5 years ago to target the demographic that was likely going to buy the home I was listing. We are in a mobile/digital first world which is the #1 reason my marketing is roughly 90% online and highly targeted.
In the past 6 years I've been involved in 100s of transactions and scenarios including luxury property representation, commercial & residential investment purchases + liquidation, new home buyer purchases, bulk portfolio sales, fix & flips, wholesaling distressed properties, and everything in between. I have individually sold over $35 Million dollars worth of real estate in the past few years primarily in the Scottsdale, Arcadia, and East Valley markets. I currently live in North Scottsdale and enjoy golfing, playing with my dog, traveling, and spending time with friends and family in my spare time.
